These terms explain how our in-person first consultation appointments work, how you can reschedule or cancel, what happens if you do not attend, how our virtual agent works, and how we process your information, including information needed for financing requests.<\/p>\n <p>By booking a first consultation, you agree to these appointment terms and conditions.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">2<\/span> Scope: first consultation only<\/div>\n <p>This booking is for an in-person first consultation with a dentist. The purpose of the consultation is to assess your oral health, understand your concerns and goals, and explain suitable treatment options and next steps.<\/p>\n <p>The first consultation may include a clinical examination and, when clinically appropriate, diagnostic steps such as imaging or digital scans. If we recommend diagnostics, we explain why before proceeding.<\/p>\n <p>Treatment, procedures, and follow-up visits are scheduled separately.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">3<\/span> What your first consultation includes<\/div>\n <p>Your first consultation is designed to give you clarity. It typically includes:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>A clinical assessment<\/li>\n <li>A discussion of your concerns and goals<\/li>\n <li>A clear explanation of suitable treatment options and next steps<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Any treatment plan, timeline, and cost estimate depend on clinical findings. If you decide to proceed with treatment, we will confirm details and schedule the next appointment separately.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">4<\/span> Booking details and confirmation<\/div>\n <p>When you book, you should receive a confirmation by email or message. We may send reminders, but you remain responsible for attending even if you do not receive a reminder.<\/p>\n <p>If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact us to verify your booking. An appointment is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation by email or SMS.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">5<\/span> Your responsibilities<\/div>\n <p>To help us deliver safe and efficient care, you agree to:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Provide accurate information, including medical history where requested, and update it if it changes<\/li>\n <li>Attend your appointment on time<\/li>\n <li>Follow clinic instructions related to safety and clinical care<\/li>\n <li>Inform us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>If you have urgent symptoms such as swelling, uncontrolled pain, fever, or difficulty breathing, please call us. In emergencies, seek emergency medical care.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">6<\/span> Rescheduling and cancellations<\/div>\n <p>If you need to reschedule or cancel your first consultation, please call us as early as possible on our virtual agent and booking line, <strong>+41 22 539 10 11<\/strong>, or our direct clinic line, <strong>+41 22 700 20 20<\/strong>.<\/p>\n <p>We ask that you give us at least 24 hours' notice whenever you can. Early notice lets us offer the appointment time to another patient. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be treated as a late cancellation under section 9.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">7<\/span> Late arrivals<\/div>\n <p>If you arrive late, we may not be able to complete the full consultation within the reserved time. Depending on the delay and our clinical schedule, we may:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li>Shorten the consultation, or<\/li>\n <li>Reschedule your appointment<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>Significant lateness may be treated as a late cancellation if we cannot use the reserved time.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">8<\/span> Consultation fees by clinic<\/div>\n <p>The first-consultation fee depends on the clinic you book with:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><span class=\"brand-line\">Smile Design Boutique<\/span> \u2014 The first consultation is charged at CHF 170. The full amount is credited toward your treatment plan if you choose to proceed with us.<\/li>\n <li><span class=\"brand-line\">Implant Studio, Smile Studio, and Ortho Studio<\/span> \u2014 The first appointment is free of charge.<\/li>\n <\/ul>\n <p>The applicable fee, and the notice period for cancellations, is shown at the time of booking.<\/p>\n\n <div class=\"sec-title\"><span class=\"num\">9<\/span> Missed appointments and late cancellations<\/div>\n <p>A missed appointment affects other patients and clinic operations. If you do not attend, or cancel too late for us to reassign your time slot, the following may apply:<\/p>\n <ul>\n <li><span class=\"brand-line\">Smile Design Boutique<\/span> \u2014 The CHF 170 consultation fee may be retained and is not credited toward a future treatment plan.<\/li>\n <li><span class=\"brand-line\">Implant Studio, Smile Studio, and Ortho Studio<\/span> \u2014 Although the first appointment is free, a late-cancellation or missed-appointment fee may apply to cover the reserved clinical time. Approval is not guaranteed and depends on the provider's assessment.<\/p>\n <p>To support a financing request, we may collect and use additional details such as your date of birth, address, and the estimated treatment amount. Some information may need to be shared with the financing provider to process your request.<\/p>\n <p>The financing provider is responsible for any credit decision and creditworthiness checks.
